It takes less than a minute to export your data from Google. Follow the instructions below to get started (here are instructions if you'd prefer to do this from your computer).

  1. Open the Google Maps app

  2. Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner

  3. Tap Your data in Maps

  4. Scroll down and press Download your Maps data

  5. Keep Maps (your places) checked and uncheck Location History, Maps, and My Maps

  6. Tap Show more products

  7. Scroll down and check Saved

  8. Scroll down and tap Next step

  9. Tap Create export

Send your data to North

Once you've exported your data from Google Maps you'll receive an email from Google and in it their will be a button to Download your files.

Once you click that and download the zip file you can reply to the email we sent you with the attached file.

That's it you're done! πŸŽ‰

It can take up to 24 hours for your data to show in North and a member of our team will let you know when it's finished.
