So, you're ready to migrate your Google Maps data to North. In this article, we'll cover the following:

Export Your Data from the Google Maps iPhone App

  1. Open the Google Maps app

  2. Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner

  3. Tap Your data in Maps

  4. Scroll down and press Download your Maps data

  5. Keep Maps (your places) checked and uncheck Location History, Maps, and My Maps

  6. Tap Show more products

  7. Scroll down and check Saved

  8. Scroll down and tap Next step

  9. Tap Create export

  10. Now you just need to wait for an email from Google and once you receive it skip down to the section on Sending Your Data to North.

Export Your Data from Google on Your Computer

  1. Click Deselect all

  2. Scroll down and check the Maps (your places)

  3. Scroll down a bit more and check Saved

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Next step

  5. Click Create export

Send Your Data to North

Once you've exported your data from Google Maps, either via the Google Maps iPhone app or from your computer, you can follow the steps below to send your data to North to be imported:

  1. In the email you receive from Google click the Download your files button

  2. You may need to sign in before the file gets downloaded

  3. Go to https://tally.so/r/mJRDJo and upload the zip file

    1. In this form we'll also ask you a few questions about how your data should be imported into North

It can take up to 24 hours for your data to show in North.
